Visualisation and Knowledge Formation

Held at the Department of Archaeology, University of Southampton, 23-24 October 2008, the Visualisation and Knowledge Formation workshop presented a wide-ranging collection of cross-disciplinary research centred on the Workshop’s core themes. Attracting an international response from delegates working in visuality-related studies, this first VIA Workshop has provided a firm foundation upon which future Workshops will now be structured.

The VIA Workshop organising committee are now working towards formulating strategies for the dissemination of the 2008 Workshop results, news of which will be released on the VIA web site in the near future.
